Social Responsibility..

How old are you?

"25 yrs old" he said

"wow!!25 yrs...what have you done useful in these 25 yrs?"

"me!!I got campus placed at the age of 19.I work in a big software firm.My first salary was 18000 rS and now I earn 45000 Rs .per month.

"well!!that's great!!so..what have u done useful in these many years?"

"I..I earn..I bought a car..I have my own house..I go for foreign trips with my family once a yr..I...I will be settling in abroad soon.."

"Wow!!that 's very nice to hear..but what have u done useful in these many years??

"hmm...what do u mean?"

"I mean what I say..what have u done useful to your country so far..what have you done useful to mother earth??"

"I..I pay my income tax regularly.I dont disturb or hurt anyone and what else should I do??There are people to take care of our mother earth..and what am I to do??

Dear friends..

Most of us in this world are like the above said person..We are always bothered about I..I..and I ....selfish..very selfish...I dont mean to say that u should not have your own house ,car or you should not go to abroad etc..Ofcourse its ur money and u have the right to do anything with it..But my question is "why are we running away from social responsibilities.??Most of us have only one question in mind.."why should I do??"

The answer for this question is "because you are supposed to do.." Yes!!we are supposed to do..On the judgement day,The money we earned and the properties we had will not be taken into count...

If you all can do me a favour ..do one thing tonight..

1.lie down on your bed
2.look at the ceiling
3.Is the fan rotating??

Well!!Now look at it and ask the following questions to urself.."Have I done anything useful to mother earth?"
If NO is the answer so far..
Its time for you to decide on "what am I going to do?"

We all have our own families .we have children..Bringing them up, educating them and giving them whatever they ask for etc..etc....These are family responsibilities..Nobody can escape from it..So its our duty to earn for them..Providing them everything that they want for a decent living..Well!!If u are a complete family man...Its highly appreciable..

But at the same time there are few other responsibilities in this world...social responsibility..this responsibility will not be given ..It should be taken.It is we who should decide if we need to take this social responsibility or not..If yu ask me.."what sort of social responsibility are you talking about??There are many examples..

Last month two infants were found in a dustbin and there are many such orphans throughout the world..When we talk about our country the condition is even poorer..These children dont have proper food to eat, they dont have enough sponsors for education..they dont have aproper place to live..We can help them with money for food, education etc..Its not just about money..we can impart our knowledge to those kids.A socially responsible person feels very happy in spending time with such children..

Not just this..you can be socially responsible in various other ways too..find your own way..We have so much to do in this world ..we have a very very long way to go..

I have found my way..But I am not even a drop in an ocean..So, I need like minded, good hearted people to join me..We all together can definitely make a better society..a better India..If you are willing to join me in this..do contact me ...stressing again..Ready made heaven will not be given to us..We need to work to make it a heaven..Life is beautiful!!!!!If not lets together make it beautiful..
